Junior Year
To expand my involvement in my band class, I decided to combine music and technology to compose a piece of music titled "Solar Dance". This project was one of my favorites to complete this year as it was both challenging and enjoyable. From my efforts I learned how to conduct, write music, and also what I would do differently if I were to write another piece of music.

In my Honors PreCalc class, I decided to combine technology and math to create a 3D printed arc reactor with functional lights that also contained a unit circle. This project taught me not only that I need to memorize the unit circle, but also that 3D printing is difficult and I need to practice more with the machines and their capabilities.

For my AP Physics class, we were tasked with creating a review video to teach about a unit before the final test. This combines both technology and science, as we had to both film and analyze data. From this project I learned how to film more effectively as well as how to understand physics better. Additionally, this project improved my collaboration skills and allowed me to work much better with others afterwards.

End of Grade Reflection
This year was especially challenging as I was forced to navigate new circumstances involving leadership and academics. I was thrust out of my comfort zone and into a place of uncertainty, but it was through this discomfort that I've become the person I am today. I've developed important leadership skills through various opportunities like CSLA and becoming a drum major in the marching band, and I feel that it is these experiences that will define me as a person later in life.
Overall, I feel that this year was one of the best I've ever experienced. I learned a lot and changed the way I live my life. I decided to stop being mediocre and really push for the things I wanted in life. I would no longer sit on the sidelines and wait for things to come to me, I had to go out and get them or they would pass me by. This incredibly challenging year taught me how to be a better person and expand my mindset beyond its previous limits.
