Sophomore Year
In my Honors Algebra 2 class, we were tasked with creating a review game for the class to use. This game's purpose was to help the class prepare for the midterm. Our group decided to create our game in Minecraft, to put a STEM twist on this assignment. The game consisted of 30 rooms, each with a question that related to math. It was very well received and many people asked if they could play it again!
In Honors Chemistry, we completed a chemical reaction lab in which we determined the composition of an unknown liquid by reacting the liquid with other chemicals. This caused a precipitate to form, which allowed us to correctly identify the compound as well as how much precipitate we created.
In Honors World Literature, we were assigned a book project and the boundaries were nearly limitless. So, I decided to create a beautiful digital book cover for the book of my choice. I used technology and art to create this piece, allowing me to expand my knowledge of my talents and the previous limits I had placed on myself.
